Visha Devan International (“VDI”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through vishadevan.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and, where applicable, comparable international data-protection laws.

What we collect

Account details: your email address, name, and phone number when you create an account. Order details: shipping addresses, items purchased, and payment receipts you upload for verification. Concierge conversations: messages you send to our chat assistant, stored so our team can assist you and improve service. Technical data: cookies that keep you signed in, remember your cart, and your preferred display currency.

How we use it

To fulfil and deliver your orders, verify bank-transfer and QR payments, send transactional email (order confirmations, payment confirmation, shipping updates), respond to enquiries, and operate the boutique. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the store: our hosting and database providers (Vercel, Supabase), our email provider (Resend), our shipping partner (EasyParcel and its courier network, who receive your delivery name, address, and phone number to deliver your parcel), and our AI assistant provider (Anthropic) for concierge chat replies. Each processes data only on our instructions.

Cookies

We use strictly functional cookies: session authentication, your shopping cart, your display-currency preference, and your concierge conversation. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Retention & security

Order records are kept as long as required for accounting and warranty purposes. Payment receipts are stored in a private, access-controlled bucket visible only to our verification team. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent to processing. Contact us via the contact page or WhatsApp and we will respond within a reasonable period as required by the PDPA.
